This notice explains how Matthew Jope trading as Recode Your Mind collects and uses personal information when you visit this website, purchase a digital product, contact us or otherwise interact with Recode Your Mind.

1. Information we may collect
- Identity and contact information such as your name, email address, billing address and telephone number where provided.
- Order and transaction information, including products purchased, order history, discounts, refunds and payment status.
- Payment-related information processed by Shopify and the payment provider available at checkout. We do not normally receive your full payment-card number.
- Account information where customer accounts are used.
- Communications you send to us, including refund requests, support questions and feedback.
- Technical and usage information such as IP address, device, browser, cookie identifiers, pages viewed and interactions with the store.
- Marketing preferences and consent records.
- Any information you voluntarily include in a testimonial, review or support message.
Please avoid sending sensitive health or other highly confidential information through ordinary contact channels unless it is genuinely necessary for your request.
2. Why we use personal information
We may use personal information to process and deliver orders, provide download access, handle refunds and customer support, operate and secure the website, prevent fraud, keep financial and business records, comply with legal obligations, improve our products and customer experience, and send marketing where permitted.

- Shopify, which hosts and operates the ecommerce platform and processes store and customer data.
- Payment providers available through Shopify checkout.
- Fileflare or another digital-delivery provider used to provide access to purchased files.
- Email, customer-support, analytics, security, hosting and marketing service providers that we use from time to time.
- Professional advisers, regulators, courts, law enforcement or public authorities where disclosure is reasonably necessary or legally required.
- A buyer, seller or adviser in connection with a genuine business sale, restructuring or similar transaction, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
We do not sell your personal information for money. Depending on the Shopify or advertising features enabled and the law where you live, some data uses may be treated as "sharing" for targeted advertising. Where an applicable opt-out is available, use our Your Privacy Choices page.
5. International transfers
Shopify and other service providers may process information in countries other than the country where you live. Where UK or European transfer rules apply, we rely on legally recognised safeguards or other lawful transfer mechanisms as appropriate.
6. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute-resolution obligations. Transaction and contract records may normally be retained for up to six years after the relevant transaction or end of the relationship where needed for those purposes. Marketing records are kept until you unsubscribe or we no longer need them, while a limited suppression record may be retained so we can respect your opt-out. Other records are deleted or anonymised when they are no longer reasonably required.
7. Marketing
Where we send marketing by email or another regulated channel, we will rely on consent or another lawful basis permitted in the relevant jurisdiction. You can unsubscribe using the link in a marketing email or by contacting us. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about purchases, refunds, account security or customer support.

9. Your rights

We will honour legally applicable rights and authorised-agent requests in accordance with the relevant law.
12. Children
Recode Your Mind products are intended for adults. We do not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the store. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
13. Security
We use Shopify and other service providers to support reasonable technical and organisational security measures. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We may update this notice as our services, technology or legal obligations change. The current version will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
