Listening & Safety
BEFORE YOU PRESS PLAY
Create the space to listen well.
Recode recordings are designed to help you slow the external noise, focus your attention and mentally rehearse a different response. You do not need to perform hypnosis perfectly. You do need to choose a time and place where relaxing your attention is appropriate.
One rule matters above all.
Do not listen while driving, operating machinery, cycling on a road, or doing anything that requires your full attention or an immediate response.
If you need to stay alert to your surroundings, save the recording for later.
YOUR LISTENING ENVIRONMENT
Make it easy to give the recording your attention.
You do not need candles, a perfect room or a complicated ritual. A few simple choices are enough.
Choose somewhere safe
Sit or lie somewhere comfortable where you can relax without needing to monitor traffic, equipment, children or anything else requiring active attention.
Reduce interruptions
Silence notifications if you can. Give yourself enough uninterrupted time to complete the recording rather than listening while rushing between other tasks.
Use a comfortable volume
The voice should be easy to hear without feeling loud or intrusive. Headphones are optional unless the individual product specifically says otherwise.
Listen while clear headed
For the clearest experience, listen when you are able to make normal decisions and engage with the recording comfortably.
YOU REMAIN IN CONTROL
Hypnosis does not require you to surrender your judgement.
You may become deeply relaxed, absorbed in the story, aware of every word, or somewhere in between. There is no single feeling you must achieve for a Recode experience to be worthwhile.
You can move, adjust your position, open your eyes, pause the audio or stop completely whenever you choose. If a suggestion does not suit you, you do not have to accept it.
The goal is focused participation, not loss of control.
IF YOU FEEL UNCOMFORTABLE
You are always allowed to stop.
Some recordings explore beliefs, memories, imagined situations or emotions connected with the topic. If anything feels too intense, distressing or simply wrong for you, pause or stop the recording. Open your eyes, notice the room around you and return your attention to the present environment.
If a recording brings up strong or persistent distress, do not push through it simply because you think you should. Consider appropriate professional support for what you are experiencing.
HEALTH AND WELLBEING
Personal development, not medical treatment.
Recode Your Mind recordings are created for personal development, relaxation, reflection and guided mental rehearsal. They do not diagnose, treat or cure medical, neurological or psychological conditions, and they are not a substitute for professional healthcare or therapy.
If you have a medical, neurological or mental health concern, are currently receiving treatment, or are unsure whether hypnosis or deep relaxation is appropriate for you, speak with an appropriately qualified healthcare professional before using the recordings.
MONEY, BUSINESS AND LIFE RESULTS
The recording can work on your response. Life still requires your participation.
Some Recode experiences focus on money, business, confidence, performance, relationships or other meaningful areas of life. They are designed to explore beliefs, emotional associations, self image, future rehearsal and the actions you may choose to take.
They are not financial, investment, legal, medical or psychological advice. No recording can guarantee income, business growth, a relationship outcome or any other external result.
Repetition strengthens familiarity. Action creates evidence. Evidence strengthens identity.
SPIRITUAL AND INTENTION BASED ELEMENTS
You do not have to share Matt's beliefs to use a Recode recording.
Some recordings may include a short intention based element influenced by Matt Jope's training in areas including Instant Miracle Coaching and energy work. Matt personally finds this dimension meaningful.
You are free to understand those moments spiritually, symbolically, metaphorically or simply as part of the guided experience. They are not presented as established scientific mechanisms, medical treatments or guaranteed causes of external events.
SLEEP EDITIONS
Check how the recording is designed to finish.
Only recordings clearly described as sleep editions are intentionally designed to allow you to continue into sleep. Standard Recode sessions guide you back toward normal waking awareness at the end.
Do not begin a sleep edition if you will shortly need to drive, work, supervise something important or perform another task requiring alertness.
THE SIMPLE VERSION
Safe place. Comfortable attention. Your judgement stays with you.
You do not need to force anything. Find somewhere appropriate, press play, follow along as much as feels natural, and remember that you can stop at any time.
